IBM Manta Metadata Administration

This course explores the fundamentals and top features of IBM Manta that are most relevant to Metadata Administrators. Explore the Manta administration user interface, discover how to configure connections, run workflows, fine-tune your lineage, and extend your repository beyond out of the box scanners thanks to OpenManta.

At the end of this course the learner will be able to: 

• Create, troubleshoot & interpret Manta connections
• Create and manage workflows in the Manta environment
• Outline and associate the appropriate jobs to a workflow
• Define the concept of Manta deductions and its limitations
• Contrast the lineage results before and after the alias mapping
• Establish a manually defined lineage in the OpenManta Designer using all the described features
